The Privileges and Procedures Committee
The Jersey Elections campaign is the responsibility of the States of Jersey Privileges and Procedures Committee.
The Committee wants to make sure that you know about your right to vote and how to make your vote count in forthcoming elections.
What was different in 2011?
2011 was the first year that Jersey had had a single election day.
This meant that elections for Senators, Deputies and Connétables all took place on the same day – Wednesday 19th October 2011.

New ways to vote
For the first time in 2011 it was also possible to vote before election day, without needing a reason.
Islanders were able to pre-poll vote at St Paul’s Centre from 19th September 2011 until 17th October 2011.
