Voting on election day

You can vote on election day at your parish or district polling station.

 

 

 

Voting if you are ill or disabled or illiterate

You can vote before or on election day if you are ill, disabled or illiterate.

 

 

 

Voting before election day

If you are too busy to vote on election day, you can pre-poll vote.

 

 

 

Voting by post

If you will be out of the Island on election day, you can apply for a postal vote.

 

 

 

Registering to vote

You can register to vote if you are 16 or over and have lived in the Island for 5 years, or for 6 months plus a period that totals 5 years.
