Voting if Ill, Disabled or Illiterate
How to vote if you are disabled, ill or in hospital
If you are ill, disabled or illiterate, you can still cast your vote.
Casting a vote before polling day
If you know you will not be well enough to go to your polling station to vote on election day, then you can arrange to vote in advance.
Contact the Judicial Greffe and they will send an official to you to take your vote before election day.
Download an application form for a pre-poll home visit.
Casting a vote on election day
If you fall ill on election day and cannot make it to your polling station, you can still participate by using a "sick" vote.
Contact your parish hall as soon as possible on election day and they will send an official to you to take your vote.
