Who Can Vote?
Who can vote in Jersey?
If you are 16 or over and have lived in Jersey for either:
- the last 2 years, or
- the last 6 months plus a period totalling 5 years
then, regardless of your nationality, you can vote in Jersey elections.
The first step is to make sure you are on the electoral register, because if you aren't registered, you won’t be able to vote on election day.
