Who can vote in Jersey?

If (by 3rd April 2013) you are 16 or over and have lived in Jersey for either:

•  the last 2 years, or
•  the last 6 months plus a period totalling 5 years

then, regardless of your nationality, you can vote in the Referendum.

The first step is to make sure you are on the electoral register, because if you aren't registered, you won’t be able to vote.
