Watch live: ‘Candidate Question Time’ events

Candidate Question Time is a brand-new series of online events to help Islanders decide who to vote for ahead of the election on 22 June 2022. The ‘Question Time’ events are in addition to the traditional in-person hustings being organised by the candidates.  

All Deputy and Connétable candidates – including those who may be competing against the ‘None of the Candidates’ option – have been invited to join a meeting for their constituency, which will be streamed live online for Islanders to watch.

Gwyn Garfield-Bennett is chairing these events and will be asking candidates the questions submitted by Islanders. Each event will be recorded for voters to watch back via the Vote.je YouTube channel in the lead up to the election.  

Connétable ‘Candidate Question Time’ events

Please be aware that there will be multiple events across a few dates, so take note of the times below for the Parish you want to watch and ask questions at:

Monday 13 June:

  • Grouville will start at 7pm
  • St Lawrence will start at 7.45pm
  • Trinity will start at 8:30pm

Tuesday 14 June:

  • St Mary will start at 7pm
  • St Saviour will start at 7:45pm
  • St John will start at 8:15pm

Wednesday 15 June:

  • St Helier will start at 7pm
  • St Clement will start at 7:45pm
  • St Martin will start at 8:15pm

Thursday 16 June:

  • St Ouen will start at 7pm
  • St Brelade will start at 7:30pm
  • St Peter will start at 8pm
