Hustings are public meetings where election candidates usually give a speech about their views and values, followed by a period of answering questions asked by members of the audience. Hustings are a great opportunity to hear the candidates’ manifestos in person and to ask them questions about the issues you care about.
The Hustings meetings are being filmed and the recordings will be made available for voters to watch back via the Vote.je YouTube channel in the lead up to the election. In addition to these hustings, Vote.je is running a series of online events where Islanders can submit questions to their candidates via a Zoom meeting. You can find more details of these ‘Candidate Question Time’ events here.
Check below for the date, time and venue for the events for your constituency and Parish. The hustings events are organised by the candidates and are being added to this page as we receive details.
