Why Vote?

• Do you have a view on how many politicians the Island needs for democratic government to work well?
• Do you care about whether the Constables have an automatic right to sit in the States?
• Do you have a view on whether the States Assembly needs Senators elected on an Island-wide mandate?

If your answer to one or more of the above questions is 'yes' then you need to vote in the referendum!

The Electoral Commission is recommending the most significant changes to the constitution of the States Assembly since 1948. By exercising your right to vote, you are helping to shape the future of the Island's government.
