I am standing because Jersey needs clear, long-term direction and because Grouville and St Martin deserve experienced, independent representation with a proven track record.

If elected, my priorities include:

Protecting Parish life – I care deeply about Grouville and St Martin – our culture and history that define Jersey. I will continue to serve Parishioners with initiatives I established – St Martin & Grouville Community Support Groups, Grouville Gazette and Les Grouvelles – and holding regular Parish Surgeries.

Promoting Island Identity at home and abroad, raising Jersey’s profile through our expertise in dairy, conservation and financial inclusion. Small jurisdictions succeed not only through economic strength, but by reputation. This work could be developed much further, positioning Jersey to become a centre for philanthropy and impact investing.

Establishing a long-term vision for Jersey building on the Island Identity project, instilling a sense of belonging and pride, strengthening our international reputation, while shaping a strong, clear direction for the Island.

Supporting business and economic growth – means establishing quicker, easier ways to do business in Jersey, and reforming the Planning processes. Enterprise and hard work must be rewarded not thwarted. Backing economic sectors like hospitality, creative industries, fisheries and agriculture – is vital to maintaining our landscape, transport links and quality of life. Restoring Gorey Harbour to a vibrant working Port. Maintaining Jersey’s competitive tax environment is essential to all industries.

Deepening historic connections with France, our closest neighbour, which will support tourism, education and economic cooperation.

Establishing an Independent Skills and Careers Agency, improving links between business and education while increasing apprenticeships, vocational training and re-skilling opportunities for all ages.

Adopting a realistic climate roadmap – right for Jersey – with practical measures – extending cycle routes, improved public transport and solar panels (on roofs – not fields).

Better Government – the current Ministerial system is inefficient. Clear lines of accountability and responsibility must be restored, with better coordination between government, parishes, business and the voluntary sector. Improved oversight of utilities and public bodies to ensure strategic alignment that best serves the public. With focus on delivery and financial discipline.

Easing cost of living pressures – ensuring rigorous oversight of energy pricing by the Competition Authority. Support local food production with tax breaks. Secure efficient freight links. Increase provision of affordable childcare.

Home ownership making use of modern construction methods, improve the longwinded and often unpredictable planning system. Reintroduce deposit loans for first-time buyers, so Islanders are not locked out of their own Island.

Investing in preventative healthcare to support Islanders living active, independent, fulfilled lives.

I will continue to work across the aisle, focus on delivery and provide visible, grounded representation.

My full Manifesto will be uploaded onto my website.
