My vision is of a Parish that is financially sound, socially connected, economically vibrant, and accessible to everyone. A Parish that plans for the long term, protects what matters most, and delivers real improvements to daily life.

Financial Stability

A strong and sustainable financial foundation underpins my vision for a resilient St. Helier. I am committed to keeping Parish Rates as affordable as possible for residents and businesses, while ensuring expenditure remains firmly within our means.

In an era where the cost of living impacts all Islanders, every decision matters. Delivering on our long‑term vision requires discipline, foresight, and careful judgment. I will continue to diversify Parish revenue and support the strategic reprofiling of resources, including responsible management of Parish property. This pragmatic approach safeguards the Parish’s financial health, not just for today, but for generations to come.

Health and Wellbeing

My vision for St. Helier places health, wellbeing, and social connection at its core. I will support the continued development of the St. Helier youth facility so young people have safe, welcoming spaces to learn, grow, and belong.

I will champion the extension of Millennium Park and back targeted improvements to school infrastructure, investing where the impact is greatest. I will enhance safe walking routes, contribute to the Island’s wider vision for longevity, and identify new neighbourhood improvement areas, building on the successes of Pomona Road. A Parish‑wide play strategy will ensure all children have access to welcoming recreational spaces.

Working Better Together

Realising this vision requires strong partnerships. St. Helier cannot operate in isolation. I will strengthen collaboration with other Parishes on waste management, recycling, and shared services to achieve better outcomes and better value.

Closer cooperation with Government bodies, particularly Ports and Infrastructure will support a shared vision for St. Helier and for Jersey as a whole. I will also deepen community engagement through initiatives such as Parish Ambassadors for senior citizens and young people, ensuring our vision is shaped by listening and participation.

Visitor Economy and Accessibility

As the Island’s capital, my vision is for St. Helier to be vibrant, welcoming, and liveable. I will promote public art, cultural events, and the use of Jèrriais to strengthen Parish identity, while supporting inward investment through measures such as free al fresco dining periods and targeted rate relief.

Accessibility is central to this vision. I will work to reintroduce a bus service on Broad Street, improve route optimisation, enhance communication around infrastructure works, and pursue new shopper and resident parking solutions.

This manifesto sets out a vision grounded in realism and ambition. My commitment is to listen, to act, and to serve with integrity so that St. Helier remains a Parish where everyone belongs.
