Putting residents first in South and East St Helier, the District that carries much of Jersey’s burden – our harbour, key services, and infrastructure – yet too often, our community is overlooked when it comes to investment and quality of life. I’ve spent the last eight years serving in the Parish in various roles, challenging decisions and pushing for practical, commonsense solutions. Now I’m standing to ensure our residents come first.

  • COST OF LIVING & FAIR TAX    Islanders are being squeezed from all sides.
Taxing food and essentials is wrong.

I will stand for a fairer system that protects working people, families, and pensioners – I feel no one should struggle just to cover the basics.

  • HOUSING & POPULATION BALANCE  –  We need more affordable housing – but also better control and planning. Unbalanced population growth puts pressure on housing and drives up costs.

I will push for a more responsible approach that restores balance and protects our community.

  • STRONGER LOCAL ECONOMY  –  Jersey must back its own people. We have the skills and talent – so why are we outsourcing so much?

I will support local business, strengthen our economy, and push for renewed investment in tourism and leisure – bringing back energy, opportunity, and long-term stability.

  • DIGNITY IN RETIREMENT  –  After a lifetime of contributions, no one should be left struggling. State pensions should reflect the real cost of living, allowing our elderly to live with dignity and independence.
  • INFRASTRUCTURE & PLANNING  –  Our roads, parking, and access are not working as they should.

I support practical solutions – including proper parking provision in new developments and clearer coordination between authorities.

  • GREEN SPACE & ENVIRONMENT  –  South and East St Helier deserves better surroundings.
Expanding Millennium Park would be a meaningful step toward improving our environment and quality of life.

South and East St Helier has been overlooked for too long. That only changes if we vote for it. No more being last in line. No more being ignored. I’ve already delivered change – now I am committing to do more.

VOTE FOR JASON LAGADU.

PUT OUR COMMUNITY FIRST.
