A Better Future for Jersey

Putting People First
I am standing for election for deputy of St.Helier for Jersey because I care deeply about Jersey, and  St Helier its people, and its future. I believe our Island thrives when we invest in people, support opportunity, and plan responsibly for the long term.

Mental Health: Breaking the Stigma and Funding Support
Mental health affects every family, every workplace, and every school. Yet for too long it has been underfunded and misunderstood. I will push for increased funding for adult and youth mental health services, earlier intervention, and better access to support. Education is key — we must tackle stigma through schools, workplaces, and community awareness so people feel safe asking for help. Mental health should be treated with the same seriousness as physical health.
I will also give my full support to the mental health strategy.

Sport, Leisure and Community Facilities
Sport and leisure bring people together, improve physical and mental

Transport, Connectivity and Infrastructure
Jersey must remain connected to the world. I fully support the development of Jersey Airport and Harbour, including the introduction of a second ferry service and more direct international flights to Europe. Improved connectivity supports tourism, business, and affordability for Islanders. I also support major infrastructure projects such as the new hospital and the Fort Regent development — projects that are vital for our future if delivered responsibly and transparently.

Supporting Local Business and Tourism
As someone who has worked in hospitality and catering for almost 40 years, I understand the pressures facing local businesses. I will stand up for restaurants, hotels, and small retail businesses that are the backbone of our economy. I also support the development of new tourist attractions to strengthen Jersey’s appeal and create jobs while protecting our Island’s character.

Accessibility and Inclusion.
Our island must work for everyone, there are many people with disabilities still face barriers in everyday life from accessing public spaces to finding employment.
I will work to improve accessibility across the island by upgrading public spaces and transport, supporting inclusive employment, and ensuring faster better -coordinated support services. Just as importantly, I will make sure people with disabilities are directly involved in shaping the decision that affects them.
By removing barriers and improving inclusive we can build a fairer, stronger community for all

About Me
I come from a proud Greek family, with strong values of community, hard work, and looking after one another. Jersey has been my home for decades, and I want to give back to the Island that has given so much to me. My passion comes from real life experience — listening to people, understanding their struggles, and believing we can do better together.
