Dear Voter, I’m Kevin, and I want to explain why I am standing, what I stand for, and why I have chosen Reform Jersey.

I was born in 1990, I have a village of family & friends who helped me to gain a foothold on life. I was educated at De La Salle and Highlands. I have lived and worked across our Island all my life.

I have chosen to stand with Reform Jersey because like many of you, I believe that we need a group of like-minded individuals who are willing to challenge and support one another with open, constructive dialogue. Who have created change and prosperity through that same assembly of debate, consensus and action.

In my view, Reform Jersey is the only way we will achieve lasting change and prosperity.

As one of your Deputies for St. Helier North, I promise to work with my St. Helier North & Reform Jersey colleagues to address the cost-of-living crisis and support my constituents.

My focus will be the following:

St. Helier North Representation – I will ensure your vote always has a strong voice in the assembly that represents you.

I will not allow our district to become over-saturated with new builds, without improved schools, upgraded parks, or practical parking.

If elected, I am accountable to you, and I will be in our constituency regularly to listen and to act.

Housing – A stable home is the bedrock of every Islanders life. I will continue the work of Reform Jersey in St. Helier North through supportive measures that will improve security and standards for renters in our district. I will tackle practices that keep viable homes empty and push rents and access to ownership further out of reach.

Health & Social Services – Health is our most precious commodity.

I will support the timely building of our new hospital and focus on key worker retention. I will work to reduce clinical waitlists and combat patient transfer to UK hospitals for certain surgeries. I will look to ensure that our residential homes focus on the resident, rather than profit.

Education – Jersey has done well to build a positive reputation; people want to raise families here. We have safe streets and safe schools, but our students need greater choice beyond post sixteen education, to gain the skills and qualifications needed in life.

As a diverse community, we need local education that meets the growing needs of our Island’s students and educators.

I promise to work to ensure a successful and prosperous future, one where together, we turn the tide, for St. Helier North, and Jersey.
