St Lawrence, St John & Trinity represent the heart of Jersey. Our parishes are defined by strong communities, shared responsibility, and people who look out for one another. I know, I grew up in St John and raised my family here. Those values shaped my belief that Jersey works best when we work together. That is why I am standing to be your Deputy.

Throughout my working life, I have seen that good outcomes come from teamwork, not slogans. As a pharmacist, I was aware how islanders are let down when services were fragmented and short‑term decisions dominate. I also saw how much better things work when we come together around shared goals.

These beliefs led me to co‑found the social enterprise Call&Check, responding to loneliness through early, practical support. It has guided my work as Chair of Family Nursing and HomeCare, and as co‑founder of Policy Centre Jersey, Island of Longevity, and Value Jersey. Again and again, the lesson is the same; when we plan ahead and work together, islanders are better served and public money is better used.

Like many people, I am concerned about the direction Jersey is heading. The Island is becoming too expensive, and our taxes are wasted because different parts of government pull in the different directions. Every election, hundreds of promises are made without a realistic plan to deliver them. That approach does not respect you, the voters in St Lawrence, St John & Trinity. You should expect practical solutions and accountability.

I believe we need to change how politics works, not just who is elected. Jersey’s system depends on collective responsibility, yet collaboration too often happens by chance. We need clearer priorities, agreed before elections, and a commitment to work as a team once elected.

That is why I support the Value Jersey programme. It has brought together expertise from across the Island and focuses on long-term outcomes rather than short‑term headlines. Alongside that programme, I will work to deliver priorities that matter locally and Island‑wide; modernising the parish system to strengthen community‑based services, supporting entrepreneurship to grow the real economy, shifting healthcare towards prevention, reforming pensions so they are fair and sustainable, and supporting innovation through a research campus and a sovereign data trust.

My commitment is straightforward: I will listen, I will work with others, and I will challenge poor decisions. I will always focus on the interests of islanders.

This election offers a choice. We can accept more of the same, or we can choose to change and build a government that works together, delivers better value, and earns back public trust. I am asking for your support to do exactly that.
