Jersey isn’t performing as well as it should be.  After 16 years in elite sport, I know when performance suffers, you dive into the core of the issue, change the culture and you build a team that can deliver.

That is why I am standing for Senator.

I have spent my career in environments where accountability is non-negotiable, where teamwork is the difference between winning and losing, and where results matter. Jersey does not lack good people, it lacks alignment, discipline, and a clear plan. That is what I will bring to public service.

I am a mother of two. Like many families, we feel the pressure. It is too expensive here, housing is a constant concern, and work life balance is harder than it should be. I have questioned whether staying here is sustainable. I have seen friends leave, not because they wanted to, but because they felt they had no choice.

That is not acceptable.

Cost of living is an issue, the government is wasting money and our economy isn’t bringing in enough. We can’t afford more of the same. At every election a thousand promises are made, almost none delivered. I believe this is because the current system doesn’t create conditions to enable team work. We need more candidates pulling in the same direction if we are to succeed.

That’s why I am supporting Value Jerseys priorities.

  1. More cheaper choices: like cheaper super markets, cheaper taxis and cheaper loans
  2. Cutting government waste
  3. Rebooting local economy

We need to change how Jersey is run. Less talk, more action.

We must bring down the cost of everyday life by making it easier for cheaper providers to operate here, increasing competition and giving Islanders real choice.

We must fix how government works, reducing waste, improving efficiency, and ensuring that decisions are followed through properly.

We must better support working families, with affordable childcare and policies that reflect modern life, so people can build careers and raise families without unnecessary strain.

Additionally, we must invest in preventative health, wellbeing, and sport so people can live healthier lives, reducing long-term pressure on our services.

We need PE teachers back in our primary schools and to transform parish hubs into modern spaces for health, wellbeing, and connection.

Jersey has the talent and potential to succeed. Jersey needs a team that’s prepared to work together, take responsibility, and deliver results.

I will bring that mindset.

I will work with others, focus on what matters, and get things done. This is your chance to elect a new team of independents who will work together to make our Island affordable. Let’s build a Jersey where people don’t just get by — but genuinely thrive.
