Staff from the States Greffe will be conducting surveys at polling stations on Election Day to better understand Islander’s voting experience and how this can be improved upon in future elections.

Islanders wishing to participate in the survey – which will take just a few minutes – will be asked seven questions after they have voted, including how they found out about their candidates; what motivated them to head to the poll; and what would make it easier to vote next time.

Jenny O’Brien, Head of Digital and Public Engagement at the States Greffe, said: “Gaining a better insight into why people decided to vote, as well as how they found out the necessary information on candidates and the voting process, helps us to improve our communication and engagement strategy in the future. We would be really grateful for a few minutes of voters’ time to provide us with this valuable feedback”.
