Islanders are reminded that the final day to be an Early Voter is Monday 1 June. The early voting (pre-poll) station is located in St. Paul’s Centre, between Dumaresq Street and New Street in St. Helier and is open:
- TODAY, Friday 29 May, 8.45am – 5pm
- MONDAY 1 June, 8.45am – 12pm
Early voting is open to all voters and provides a convenient, flexible way for Islanders to cast their vote in one venue, regardless of where they live in Jersey, and is helpful for Islanders unable to make it to a polling station on Election Day.
Anyone who prefers to vote on Sunday 7 June is advised to check in advance which polling station they need to use. People can only vote at their one allocated polling station on Election Day. Although many parishes only have one polling station, St. Helier, St. Brelade and St. Saviour all have multiple polling stations and residents of these parishes should visit their parish website to check which polling station is assigned to their address.
Whether voting early, or on Election Day, Islanders are encouraged to bring photo ID, such as a passport or driving license. People without either of these can bring an alternative form of ID, such as Yoti, JerseyMe, or a recent utility bill. Islanders arriving without any ID, may need to wait longer to allow the Electoral Administrator to verify their identity using Parish records.
