Disabled parking is available on the fourth and lower ground floors of Sand Street car park and in disabled bays in The Parade; Please note that these require a distance to be travelled on some uneven pavements, across roads and pedestrian areas.
On polling day the area around the Town Hall including the approach by car or foot will be supervised.
The area for disabled parking and unloading in front of the building will be cordoned off and managed by Honorary Police.

People using the lift will need to cross the flow of people using the stairs. Emergency evacuation assistance is also provided.
A one way circular system will be in operation up the two flights of stairs and voters move round the hall in a clear anti-clockwise direction.
There is a lower desk for wheelchair users.
