There is a nearby bus stop at the church and regular buses (5, 7 and a No: 10 which runs from east to west).
A new pedestrian crossing is in place and there is also a 20mph limit for ease of access to hall on foot.
The dedicated parking area at the Parish Hall will be designated for disabled parking with appropriate parking signs in place (4 spaces – all clearly marked).
There will be parking available in the School Playground, adjacent to the Parish Hall, Rue des Buttes and additional spaces in the Precinct area if needed.
The main entrance has 2 granite steps leading to a porch and a further step into the Hall – these lack features that would assist some disabilities. The double doors will be held open on the day.
The Accessible entrance has a small slope leading to it but there is no level landing at the top to enable a user to rest. The double doors will be held open but a large wheelchair may still struggle to get through them. There is loose matting inside both doors that could be a slip/trip hazard.
Voters exit via the rear accessible door (for a one way system) which means that disabled voters will be entering contra to the flow of exiting voters.
Dedicated staff along with at least one Honorary Police Officer will be stationed at the Accessible entrance for the duration to ensure that parking and access is maintained at all times.
There is a one way system for voters entering by the main door, circulating the hall and exiting via the rear accessible door.
Disabled voters enter and exit via the rear accessible door.
Some narrow internal doorways may be an issue for those with larger wheelchairs.
The alternative route for disabled voters is lengthy but well signed and easily navigated.

If you need to use a screen reader or other assistive technology you’ve brought with you, please speak to a Parish Official (Autorisé or Adjoint).
You can bring someone with you to the polling station, but if you need help filling in your ballot paper, a Parish Official (Autorisé or Adjoint) will help you.
One accessible toilet in the Parish Hall on the right of the accessible entrance.
